CLOUD ATLAS is an epic story of humankind in which the actions and consequences of our lives impact one another throughout the past, present and future as one soul is shaped from a murderer into a savior and a single act of kindness ripples out for centuries to inspire a revolution.

 

That, my friends, is the official plot description of Cloud Atlas, a new film co-written and co-directed by Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run) and The Wachowskis (Seriously? You want me to list their films??).

And according to IMDb the film tells six stories that set in a different time and place that become intricately linked to each other. It sounds really trippy, mind bending, and just crazy enough to work!
