'Rock of Ages' Second Trailer
4th April
There’s a new trailer for the new Tom Cruise movie Rock of Ages which based on the very popular Broadway Musical and has a pretty good cast BUT I still have absolutely no interest in seeing this whatsoever!
It looks bad. It looks cheesy. It looks like it’s been created for a GLEE fan base. Even the songs selected have a certain GLEE-esque quality about them.
So with that being said, if you enjoy GLEE and seeing people sing and dance with some gaudy costumes and some laughs then Rock of Ages will probably be for you.
Rock of Ages is set for an Australian release on June 14th 2012

‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ Review
26th December
Guest Writer: Matthew Mupfanochiya
After walking into the sunset at the end of MI:3 with wife in tow I thought we were all done with Ethan Hunt.
Summary:
Ethan is given a mission to hunt down documents that will identify a nuclear scientist for what he really is, a nuclear mad man with a vision for a toasty planet earth.
Mission fails and Ethan wakes up in a Russian hospital under the care of the world’s sloppiest KGB agent.
Hunt escapes to find out more bad news, his team is being blamed for an act of terror and they’ve been disavowed, in fact all of the Impossible Missions Force (IMF) has been dissolved.
Leaving Hunt and his new team with two new missions save the world from nuclear mad man, and clear their names.
My View:
This latest instalment into what looked like a dead series is a … Read More »

Weekly Slab #4
18th December
Welcome to another edition of the Weekly Slab!
I have to start off this week by saying that it’s going to be a longer one than last week, where nothing really happened, but definitely not the case this week!
So here are all the stories, new articles, and trailers which caught my attention and have been deemed worthy to receive a place on my site. (“deemed worthy” by me. If it doesn’t interest me, I won’t spend time on it.)
Rock of Ages Trailer
Earlier this week, the first trailer for the musical turned film Rock of Ages was released to some pretty poor reviews and tweets. There were some pretty reliable pretty whom I follow on Twitter and they were saying that it was bad and kind of hard to sit through, but I always want to make up my own mind and … Read More »

Ok, I was wrong.
I am now completely on board with the fourth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise. I just realised that the below trailer is the REAL trailer for Ghost Protocol!
I now cannot wait for December!

‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ Full Trailer

So just when I think I am getting back into the swing of blogging and posting things about film that I find interesting, as in the first trailer for Ghost Protocol, then one day later a brand new trailer for it gets released…I have no idea how so many other people stay on top of the never-ending avalanche of information but anyway I digress…so in case you haven’t seen , here it is;
Now perhaps it’s just me but I am still not impressed with it and can’t imagine myself going to the cinema to watch it. I don’t blame it specifically on the trailer but it just looks like every other action movie out there and in essence the same as the last couple of Mission Impossible movies that have been released.
Are there any people actually out there that see … Read More »

‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ Trailer
26th October
Do we really need another Mission Impossible movie?
Really?
Well, I suppose since the last entry into this franchise wasn’t too bad (anything HAD to be better than the second one) there still might be a few fans interested in seeing Tom Cruise do what he does best; shooting bad guys, speaking softly while angry, running from CGI explosions, leaping from tall buildings, and saving the day…so if you are, then you’ll love the trailer.
Joining Tom Cruise on his impossible mission are Jeremy Renner (The Avengers), Simon Pegg (Paul), Paula Patton (Jumping the Broom), Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible 3), and Josh Holloway (Lost).
I don’t hold high hopes for this one at all, but I’m willing to be surprised.
