The Expendables 2 Official Trailer
5th May
The Expendables crew is back together for a bigger, meaner, and more explosive time than the first time round!
The crew is now bigger than before and consisting of some pretty big names and some new faces too. The Expendables crew now consists of; Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Jet Li, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, and Nan Yu.
Now don’t get me wrong, I am not looking forward to this movie at all and won’t be going to see it. I hated the first one despite taking myself off to the movies expecting sheer awesomeness only to be delivered a film that wanted so desperately to be taken seriously that it was ludicrously over the top and I was beyond disappointed.
But I am a good friend, so @ClintBertenshaw … Read More »

This week provides an answer to the on-again off-again question as to whether or not Sylvester Stallone will be directing the sequel to his blockbuster The Expendables. The answer is a definite no as Simon West has been confirmed by Deadline as the director for The Expendables 2!
Simon West, director of 1997′s Con Air (can you seriously believe that it’s been 14 years?!?), knows a thing or 2 about making action movies. He will need to bring all those skills on board to direct Sly and the rest of the Expendable crew.
Nu Image outlines the plot synopsis and unfortunately for all you Mickey Rourke fans, you may be disappointed;
The Expendables are back and this time it’s personal! After Tool (Mickey Rourke), the heart and soul of the Expendables, is brutally murdered on a mission, his comrades swear to … Read More »

Before he decided to step into the octagon and tangle with cage fighters in Here Comes The Boom, Kevin James was Griffin Keyes in the Zookeeper.
Directed by Frank Coraci, who obviously enjoyed working with Kevin James on this film so much so that they immediately moved onto the currently-in-production MMA film Here Comes The Boom.
In Zookeeper, the animals at the Franklin Park Zoo love their kindhearted caretaker, Griffin Keyes. Finding himself more comfortable with a lion than a lady, Griffin decides the only way to get a girl in his life is to leave the zoo and find a more glamorous job. The animals, in a panic, decide to break their time-honored code of silence and reveal their biggest secret: they can talk! To keep Griffin from leaving, they decide to teach him the rules of courtship – animal style. The … Read More »
Sly Stallone WILL NOT be directing Expendables 2
19th April
First he was. Then he wasn’t. Then he was. Now he’s not.
Coming from the ultimate and official source, the man himself, Sylvester Stallone has stated that he will not be sitting in the director’s chair for the sequel of last year’s explosive-laden hit, The Expendables.
According to Deadline, Sly Stallone is involved in collating of list of suitable directors for the sequel and has been lobbying for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis to return after their short, but definitely worthwhile, cameo’s.
Perhaps a new director might be able to craft a decent action movie and make it more than just mindless action.
Sorry Sly…

Sly Stallone to Direct Expendables 2
11th April
For those of you who know me you are already aware of my disdain for The Expendables.
You know that I would rather watch paint dry than sit in a cinema and be bored out of my mind by the over the top action and mindless drivel…
So it’s with that in mind that I share with you all that it will be Sylvester Stallone once again sitting in the director’s chair for the Expendables 2 directing all that fantastically awesome action.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better…then you find out that the man responsible for unleashing this film on the world will be doing it again…the joke’s on me though because it will probably gross another 200 million dollars!
Surely I can’t be the only one who was less than impressed with the original?
Do you have an opinion @CausticReality?
