Chazz Palminteri as Paul Castellano

You can’t possibly make a gangster movie without Chazz Palminteri so it’s a good thing that it’s just been announced that he’s joined the cast of Gotti: In the Shadow of my Father as Paul Castellano.

Thanks to Reuters, Producer Marc Fiore made the announcement that Mr Palminteri has officially joined the cast as the one time head of the Gambino crime family.

The film is set to start shooting in January, but it is still uncertain as to whether Lindsay Lohan and Joe Pesci will be starring after some very publicised announcements, possible lawsuits, and the offering of alternative roles.

One thing is for certain, the addition of Chazz Palminteri to the cast lends some more credibility to a film which is shaping up to be something special. There is very little in the way of plot details but I do wonder … Read More »
