As a fan of horror I have found in that the genre tends to lead towards gore over fear for most Hollywood movies. Don’t get me wrong, I love the gore factor as much as the next guy, but sometimes it’s nice to have an on the edge of your seat moment. The Paranormal Activity series has always done this for me.
OK, so it’s common knowledge by now that the movies are not in fact “lost tapes” and the events did not happen, but it is because of the handy cam style recording that really gives the series its edge.
