** Potential Spoilers – I’ll always try never to spoil anything but if you want to go in fresh with no outside info or basic plot points then I suggest waiting til you’ve seen ‘Prometheus’ before reading the review **
Do you feel like embarking on a 2 hour journey as to whether or not God exists? How about spending 124 minutes watching some desperate characters scramble around a distant planet searching for the meaning of their existence…? If you do then Prometheus is going to be right up your alley.

‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ Review

Summary:
The movie opens with Holmes (Downey Jr) and Moriarty (Jared Harris) crossing swords, but not directly. That changes when Holmes gets warmer with his investigations, so much so that he foils one of Moriarty’s deliveries. The endgame of Moriarty’s plotting is as yet invisible to Holmes, but the immediate impacts are not, he is using various militant groups and rebels to carry out assassinations. As in the first movie Moriarty is employing Irene Adler, played by a returning Rachel Mc Adams as a pawn. Meanwhile, Dr. John Watson (Jude Law), is about to marry his beloved Mary (Kelly Reilly). Holmes is charged with arrange the stag night for Watson that involves the company of Holmes’ elder brother, Mycroft (Stephen Fry), and a lot of drinking.
