NBC Declines Wonder Woman TV Series

The much hyped Wonder Woman TV series from David E Kelley and starring Adrianne Palicki is pretty much dead in the water after NBC didn’t pick up the series as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

I don’t think this decision comes as a big surprise to anyone following the constant barrage of criticism levelled at the show since its inception. From having David E Kelley step in as creator, to having a convoluted and weak storyline, to the explosive online reaction to the first images of the costume (forcing a slight change), and finally to having Elizabeth Hurley as a once off villain.

NBC declining to pick up the show has pretty much killed any chance of the pilot ever being broadcast, unless as posted on Superhero Hype, they release the show online or through iTunes.
