'Take This Waltz' Trailer
12th April
First thoughts upon watching this trailer is THIS IS NOT A DATE MOVIE!
If you’re thinking that a movie with the world ‘waltz’ in it will be some romantic flick that you can take your girl/guy/teddy bear to, think again, unless you are prepared to have a conversation that involves you pledging a lifetime of love to your significant other.
“No, I will always love you. Really, forever and ever. Yes, even if someone else comes along that I could be attracted to and could possibly make me happy. I will only ever have eyes for you”
Ok, now that we have an understanding about what type of movie this is, I must admit it does look both intriguing and heartbreaking at the same time and I am definitely interested in seeing the film.

'My Week with Marilyn' Review
17th February
A Twitter Review
Missed my 5-part movie review on Twitter? Here it is in one convenient location.
Watched ‘My Week with Marilyn tonight’. Solid movie with a strong performance by Michelle Williams as Monroe. Balanced the broken woman with world-famous superstar perfectly. However I felt that Judi Synch and Kenneth Branagh delivered expert performances which stole some of the spotlight. The film had a unique voice being told by a young outsider. It provided a really interesting aspect.
However I felt that it looked like a TV movie despite the strong performances. It’s not a cinema movie, it can be enjoyed on DVD at home.
‘My Week with Marilyn’ is an interesting story, strong performances, but I found it lacking at some points.
Catch it on DVD.
3.5 stars.
