If you loved the original American Pie, then you are going to love the newly released RED BAND trailer for American Reunion!

This one definitely captures the same type of gross-out humour that made the first film a sensation…and it actually made me laugh out loud…

Nice to see that Jim hasn’t…um…lost his touch?

And this second one is the full-length trailer and focuses more on the entire cast…and it’s damn good to see them all again in their defining roles…I have to say that I’ve missed them!

Thanks to an Entertainment Weekly interview with Alyson Hannigan, or as she’s better known in the ‘Pie’ universe, Michelle Flaherty-Levenstein, further plot details about Jim and Michelle’s relationship have been revealed.

When asked about what’s been happening with Jim and Michelle since they were married in the last film, Ms Hannigan had this to offer;

“We’ll, we’re still married, and we have a child. So we’re navigating the waters of parenthood and how that changes the dynamics of a relationship. But also they’re going back to their high school reunion and so there’s some nostalgia there of, “Aw, remember what we were like when we first met?” That kind of stuff. It’s really nice. What could possibly bring the gang back together? Their 10 year high school reunion of course!

It seems that Facebook is connecting everyone in the world these days, including everyone’s favourite gang from East Great Falls, who make the trip back home for their high school reunion.

The news is very good for fans of the original 3 films (not counting the 4 straight to DVD titles) with all the original cast being confirmed for roles in this latest chapter. In fact, it’s just been announced that Shannon Elizabeth has been confirmed as returning as Nadia…we all remember Nadia right? Yup, that’s the Nadia I’m talking about.

Thanks to What’sPlaying, we now have a pretty good understanding of the plot of the film and the story arc for most of the main characters, are you keen to know?
