‘American Reunion’ Review – “Sequel-itis Gone Wrong”

Summary:
The sex crazed teens are back to give fans one more piece of pie….right.
13 years after the original cast left high school, our cast of horny teens have ended up stuck in everyday life. No corner office, just a cubicle. Once racy sex lives have been replaced by dippers. Some have become house husbands -whose only trace of masculinity is a shabby attempt at a beard.
These disgruntled once familiar characters seize an opportunity to head back to their home town, East Great Falls for a 10 year reunion that is 3 years overdue, and that is where the story picks up..

Summary:
The Hunger Games takes place in a dystopian world, where society is divided into groups based on their economic contributions. The groups are known as districts. To serve as a reminder to the people of a failed and bloody uprising against the aristocracy all districts are asked to contribute a young man and woman; ‘Tributes’ between the ages of 12-18 to take part in the ‘Hunger Games.’ A survivor type event held in a controlled environment. Here children battle the elements, the twisted mind of the game maker and each other; as there can only be one winner. These twisted games are broadcast to all of the districts for people watch on large screens, in scenes that remind one of a present day major sporting event.

Summary:
The Grey opens with a bar fight, and description provided by the protagonist of the men we are about embark on this journey with. Liam Neeson’s character Ottway; a weary man haunted by images from his past and contemplating suicide. Ottway protects workers who are building a pipeline for an unnamed oil company in Alaska, from marauding wolves. Once he pulls out of his suicide plans, he boards a plane headed for home with a collection of rough and tough oil riggers. In the middle of the night the plane goes down and the handful of survivors, wake up surrounded by debris, dead co-workers and endless miles of snow.
My view:
