I saw a film tonight which made me angry. It made my blood boil. If I could have slapped one of the “actors” I would have.

Tonight I watched Inside Job.

This documentary created by Charles Ferguson and narrated by Matt Damon sets out to determine the cause of the 2008 Global Financial Crisis and those responsible for it.

The film sets out to answer the question of what could cause a financial meltdown which cost over $20 TRILLION dollars and caused millions to lose their jobs and homes?

Greed.

Greed and Hubris.

The documentary is very well made, involving, and sets out to educate everyone on what took place to almost bring the US financial system crashing down and bring the rest of the world with it.

I headed to the cinema last night and checked out the new Matt Damon and Emily Blunt sci-fi fantasy, The Adjustment Bureau.

The film is the story of David Norris (Matt Damon), and up and coming politician from New York who has a chance encounter with a woman named Elise (Emily Blunt). But is it a chance encounter? Or is it all part of a plan? And why are they being shadowed by a mysterious group of men from the Adjustment Bureau?

The film covers some familiar territory focusing on the debate of Free Will vs Fate (Destiny). This message drives the film, drawing the viewer in, raising questions, but ultimately failing to deliver a satisfactory outcome.
