‘Ted’ – Restricted Trailer
5th April
If you like your comedy rude, crude, and politically incorrect (like I do) then you are going to love the trailer for Ted, the new live-action comedy from Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, and starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis.
First up, go watch the trailer below, then we’ll talk about it.
Oh and it’s not for everyone, it contains coarse language and a sexual references. You have been warned.
Did you love it? I don’t think I have laughed that hard at a trailer since The Dictator, but I guess the crude and politically incorrect humour is right up my alley.
I love that the beginning of the trailer is just like any other romantic comedy out there, you kinda sit there thinking “OMG I can’t believe there is yet another romantic comedy starring Mila Kunis being released” and then Ted … Read More »

The Other Guys – “Just plain boring”
11th April
Playing my PS3. Tweeting. Eating. Sleeping. Folding my laundry.
These are the things I would rather do than sit through The Other Guys again. It was beyond boring, it was painful to watch.
Directed by Adam McKay (Talladega Nights, Anchorman), written by both McKay and Chris Henchy, and starring the comedy powerhouse that is Will Ferrell and comedy virgin Mark Wahlberg.
The premise of the film is that we, the audience, have seen enough cop movies to know that every city has their own biggest, baddest, play-by-their-own-rules cops who do what they have to in order to get the job done regardless of the collateral damage and what the rule book says…but you don’t know about the paper pushing desk cops…here’s their story.
It’s an interesting concept and one that I found amusing enough to want to go see it…I really should have left … Read More »

‘The Other Guys’ Review
19th January
Firstly, The Other Guys is not a new idea or a cinematic masterpiece.
Now that’s out of the way let me tell you what this is, FUN!
With an interesting pairing between Ferrell and Wahlberg this movie is a fun journey with a little action, plenty of laughs and a nice twist to the mismatched partner cop genre.
Currently on DVD, I recommend grabbing this movie when you want something light hearted.
A great beer and pizza movie!
