'Dark Shadows' Trailer

I have to admit that Dark Shadows slipped quietly under the radar for me, so when I was sitting there in the cinema and the trailer came on I actually thought “What is this?” which is kind of a weird feeling since I am usually the person annoying my girlfriend by saying “Oh this is”
There were a few things that actually made me laugh and sparked my interest enough to say that I will probably end up seeing this one at the cinema. Don’t get me wrong I am not going to be waiting with bated breath but it looks entertaining enough.
Things I like about it;
I love Depp’s character name. Barnabas Collins.
Who doesn’t like a Burton/Depp collaboration?
The dysfunctional family with the weird house-guest reminds me so much of Edward Scissorhands, which was awesome!

Pirates of the Caribbean 4: Australian Premiere

Tonight was the Australian premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides at Sydney’s Event Cinemas in George Street.
Unlike the time I attended the Thor Premiere, I was not lucky enough to score tickets to attend an actual screening of the film so I don’t have a film review for you, however I do have some photos to share from the black carpet premiere.
I turned up at the cinema at around 17:40 and promptly found the best place to stand my ground in preparation of taking some photos of the celebrities walking the black carpet. It wasn’t as packed as I expected it to be, perhaps the film’s current rating on Rotten Tomatoes may have put some people off (41% rotten).
