‘American Reunion’ Trailers!
2nd November
If you loved the original American Pie, then you are going to love the newly released RED BAND trailer for American Reunion!
This one definitely captures the same type of gross-out humour that made the first film a sensation…and it actually made me laugh out loud…
Nice to see that Jim hasn’t…um…lost his touch?
And this second one is the full-length trailer and focuses more on the entire cast…and it’s damn good to see them all again in their defining roles…I have to say that I’ve missed them!
Welcome back Class of 99, looking forward to seeing you all on the big screen!
American Pie: Reunion is scheduled for an April 6 2012 release in the US.

‘A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas 3D’ Trailer
29th October
You just can’t keep a pair of good stoners down…that’s right Harold and Kumar are back in time for Christmas!
I was a big fan of the first film and thought that it was just so much fun, it was something fresh during a time where we were inundated with the same types of comedies. The came the sequel which was no way near the same type of fun as the original. All the jokes that I found funny were simply rehashed (pun intended) and seemed tiresome.
So when I heard that a third Harold & Kumar film was going to be released and it was a Christmas themed film I can’t exactly say that I was encouraged…and then I watched the trailer…
So you’re not going to find the meaning of life in this film but, come on, doesn’t it look funny?

‘Total Recall’ First Image Released
15th July
Thanks to The Film Stage, here’s the brand new first released image from the Len Wiseman directed reboot of Total Recall starring Colin Farrell and Bryan Cranston.
If you are new to the concept of Total Recall being remade then you may not be aware that the film barely resembles the original 1990 blockbuster starring the ultimate action star Arnold Schwarzenegger and set on Mars.
This one is set in the near future consisting of 2 power states, Euromerica and New Shanghai. A factory worker played by Mr Farrell begins to form the impression that he is a spy…but unsure of which side he’s on. Oh and the kicker? Nothing to do with Mars…
So you’ve got to admit that this one sounds like an adventure that could easily fit within the Jason Bourne stories, but I reserve judgement until I get to … Read More »

The casting news this week for Total Recall is being released quicker than a Johnny Cab navigates the streets of Mars!
Today it was announced by EW that John Cho (Star Trek, Harold and Kumar films) has been cast in the role of McClane, the slick salesman who sells Doug Quaid the memory package which involves the implantation of memories into his brain.
We know that Mr Cho can turn on the charm and play sleazy, just have a look at the episode of How I Met Your Mother, where he plays the head of an evil lawfirm couorting Marshall into joining them. Season 3 episode 6 “I’m Not That Guy” if anyone’s interested in seeing Mr Cho turn on the charm.
This is great news for the film because John Cho is capable of balancing comedy, sleaziness, and make … Read More »
