'Pray for Japan' Trailer

On March 11th 2011, Japan experienced one of their worst natural disasters in history with a 9.0 earthquake resulting in a devastating tsunami which destroyed the coastal region of Tohoku. The impact of the tsunami’s triggered a number of nuclear accidents at 3 reactors at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant complex.
American film-maker Stuart Levy (America’s Greatest Otaku) who was living in Japan at the time filmed the tsunami aftermath during visits to the affected areas as a volunteer over a period of 6 weeks, collecting over 50 hours of footage.
The result of the footage is Pray for Japan, a documentary film that takes place in Ishinomaki , Miyagi that focuses on 4 keys areas of the tragedy – School, Shelter, Family, and Volunteers.
