Ever since I found out that Kevin Smith had basically hand-picked Seann William Scott for the lead role in his upcoming final film, Hit Somebody, and then Scott pulled out to go and make a similar themed hockey movie, I can’t exactly say that I’ve been holding my breath in anticipation.
Now that the trailer for Goon has been officially released we can now all see the film that Scott had chosen to do instead of Hit Somebody…and the verdict is…it doesn’t look good.
So based on everything I have just seen in the trailer it’s fair to say that Scott’s character already have received one too many hits to the head, right? I mean that would explain his inability to grasp simple concepts or speak a sentence coherently, right? Wow, that’s just “hilarious”.
