'Sucker Punch' – April 11 2011
7th March
Greetings all,
“If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything”
Wiser words have never been spoken…and it’s with that thought that leads us to Sucker Punch.
The new film from director Zack Snyder (the genius behind 300, Watchmen, and the currently in pre-production Superman: Man of Steel) explores the alternate fantasy world of a young institutionalised girl as she plans her escape…and it looks FREAKING AMAZING!
Check this out!
Starring Emily Browning (The Uninvited) as Baby Doll, who has been placed in an asylum by her wicked stepfather. Baby Doll retreats into a fantasy world with 4 other imprisoned girls who then must go on a mission to retrieve 5 items which will then allow them to escape their incarceration.
Looking like a combination of Charlie’s Angels, Sin City, Kill Bill, and Return to Oz, it looks like it’s going to be a thrill … Read More »
