‘The Hunger Games’ Review

I went into The Hunger Games with very little information. I had no idea that it was based on a very popular set of books nor had I even seen a trailer for the film. I went into the movie knowing one thing, it was set in a world where an annual death-match between teenagers is a televised event.
So as someone who had no preconceived ideas about what to expect, I am very happy to report that I really enjoyed myself and thought that The Hunger Games delivered an exciting, tense, and dramatic film aimed at the young-adult market.
For those of you, like myself, who haven’t read the books, let me give you a brief overview of the story.

Carnage Trailer
It was last Monday that I came across the trailer for Carnage, a film with a killer cast, well-known director, and based on a stage play. It took me by complete surprise because I had never heard of it! Since then, however, I have read a few reviews (go have a look at Anomalous Material for a great review and also over at MyFilmViews for another good read) and overall it’s been mixed which only gets me more interested in seeing it.
