Let’s take a moment and look back at some of the films that we’ve enjoyed in the past…tonight I re-visited Ready To Rumble. Originally released in 2000, directed by Brian Robbins, written by Steven Brill, and starring David Arquette, Scott Caan, and Oliver Platt.

From the opening credits you know you’re watching a wrestling movie. A montage of the greats light up your screen in various positions of either receiving or inflicting pain on your opponent…it’s a glorious opening and the narration sums it up best;

It is safe to assume that professional wrestlers are universally recognised as the greatest athletes of all time
