The Expendables crew is back together for a bigger, meaner, and more explosive time than the first time round!

The crew is now bigger than before and consisting of some pretty big names and some new faces too. The Expendables crew now consists of; Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Jet Li, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, and Nan Yu.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am not looking forward to this movie at all and won’t be going to see it. I hated the first one despite taking myself off to the movies expecting sheer awesomeness only to be delivered a film that wanted so desperately to be taken seriously that it was ludicrously over the top and I was beyond disappointed.

It’s finally here!

The first official teaser trailer for Rian Johnson’s time travel action film, Looper, has been released…and it looks pretty damn sweet!

One of my most anticipated movies of the year, I have posted pictures when released, the poster when released, and now I am very happy to have the first teaser trailer sitting on my blog. I am excited by a film which has a great cast, a director with a vision, and a very strong story!

Now I will be more than happy to post the official trailer when it’s released but one thing is for sure, I won’t be watching it beforehand. I am sold. I will be there upon release. I don’t want to see any more. It already looks freaking sweet!

One of my most anticipated movies of the year, I have posted pictures when released, the poster when released, and now I am very happy to have the first teaser trailer sitting on my blog. I am excited by a film which has a great cast, a director with a vision, and a very strong story!

Set in a world where time travel is possible but illegal, the mob choose to send their enemies into the past where a waiting hitman, a looper (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is waiting for them. What happens when one day the looper discovers that the victim waiting to be dispatched, is himself from the future (played by Bruce Willis).

In fact, if you didn’t know any better you could quite easily tune out and miss the news from what is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing films currently in production.

Looper is directed by Rian Johnson, whose previous films include The Brothers Bloom and Brick, and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt (the lead in Brick), action man extraordinaire Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt.

Now here comes the really cool part, the storyline.

First he was. Then he wasn’t. Then he was. Now he’s not.

Coming from the ultimate and official source, the man himself, Sylvester Stallone has stated that he will not be sitting in the director’s chair for the sequel of last year’s explosive-laden hit, The Expendables.

According to Deadline, Sly Stallone is involved in collating of list of suitable directors for the sequel and has been lobbying for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis to return after their short, but definitely worthwhile, cameo’s.

Perhaps a new director might be able to craft a decent action movie and make it more than just mindless action.
