‘American Reunion’ Review – “Sequel-itis Gone Wrong”
19th April
Written by: Matthew Mupfanochiya
Summary:
The sex crazed teens are back to give fans one more piece of pie….right.
13 years after the original cast left high school, our cast of horny teens have ended up stuck in everyday life. No corner office, just a cubicle. Once racy sex lives have been replaced by dippers. Some have become house husbands -whose only trace of masculinity is a shabby attempt at a beard.
These disgruntled once familiar characters seize an opportunity to head back to their home town, East Great Falls for a 10 year reunion that is 3 years overdue, and that is where the story picks up..
My view:
The original American Pie movie introduced us a bunch of teens and their experiences and sexual evolution towards the end of their high school days. American Pie was a ground breaking and raunchy teen sex comedy, … Read More »

Guest Review: ‘American Reunion’ Review
17th April
Written by: Rainbow
While I sit here at my desk, munch on an almost-out-of-date Easter egg and roll my foot over a spikey ball I think, what have I done in the last week. Very little seems my original thought. Then I remember my recent trip to the “Sinner-Mar” (that’s how my very English friends say it).
I roll up ticket in hand and try to remember what the trailer was. Thinking Oh man, please let this not be another American Pie! This is ‘so 1999’! Its going to be an epic fail.
I’d just like to note, it’s one of the few movies that doesn’t ruin the best bits of the film in the trailer, nor shall I here. So feel free to read on.
So the basis for the film is a return of the full original cast to attend their high … Read More »

'American Reunion' – I Loved It!
13th April
Jim. Michelle. Stifler. Finch. Oz. Kevin. Vicky. Heather. Jim’s Dad. Stifler’s Mom.
If you know these names and just the thought of them brings a smile to your face then you’re going to love the latest slice of pie, American Reunion.
In the latest slice of pie, our favourite “Class of ’99″ head back to East Great Falls to attend their 13 year high school reunion (I mean 10 years is so cliché). Whilst they’re all looking forward to the reunion, the paths taken by the characters couldn’t be more different. Jim (Jason Biggs) and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) are happily married with a toddler of their own but seem stuck in a bit of rut, Oz (Chris Klein) is a successful TV sportscaster with a much younger (and “adventurous”) girlfriend (Katrina Bowden), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas) is a house-husband, Finch (Eddie Kaye … Read More »

I'm Really Looking Forward to 'American Reunion'
17th March
I am really looking forward to the release of American Reunion!
In fact I have written or posted 4 separate articles over the past 12 months because any time there were new trailers or plot updates I wanted to share it.
American Reunion is the 4th instalment in the American Pie franchise and sees the ol’ gang come back together to celebrate their 10 year high school reunion in East Great Falls. This is the first time since the original where we’ll get to see all of our favourites once again share screen-time together; Jim, Finch, Kevin, Oz, Stifler, Michelle, Heather, Vicky, Nadia, Jessica, and of course Jim’s Dad and Stifler’s Mum.
As I’ve mentioned previously, I watched the original American Pie when I was 18 years old as a “mystery movie” (we paid for an untitled movie) although we were hoping it was … Read More »

New 'American Reunion' Trailer
2nd March
Are you happy, mate?
I wasn’t going to post this trailer because I didn’t really want to watch it but ONLY because I plan on going to the cinema to watch it, and isn’t that really the point of a trailer? To peak your interest enough to want to go and watch it?
I didn’t want to watch the new trailer because I didn’t want to see any more potential spoilers since I know I’m going to watch it…but since my friend was disappointed that the trailer wasn’t on the site, here it is, just for you @ClintBertenshaw.
American Reunion opens in Australia on April 5th and I can’t wait!
