‘Lovelace’ Official Poster
5th May
The film about one of the most infamous names in the history of “adult entertainment” now has an official poster and it’s looking pretty good. That’s right, the biopic about the life and times of Linda Lovelace had a poster released this week which can only mean that a trailer cannot be far away.
The controversal role, once earmarked for Lindsay Lohan but eventually going to Amanda Seyfried, will explore the details of Lovelace’s ascent to infamy, descent, and subsequent redemption during the 1980′s. The film will tell Linda Lovelace’s story in 3 acts with actress recounting her story to 3 different reporters.
Directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (Co-directors of Howl) and starring Amanda Seyfried (Gone) as Linda Lovelace and Peter Sarsgaard (Green Lantern) as her abusive husband and self-proclaimed manager. The film is supported by some very talented actors including; Wes … Read More »
The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer #3
5th May
Sony Pictures has released the 3rd official trailer for the upcoming release of The Amazing Spider-Man on July 4th in Australia.
I’m posting the trailer for all of you who read this site and whom might be interested in seeing some more footage on what is looking to be a pretty decent reboot of the franchise. I haven’t watched the trailer because I am already sold and don’t want to see any more scenes that I might consider to be spoilers.
And for all you Spider-Man fans out there, make sure you check out the official website too. http://www.theamazingspiderman.com.au/
After the disaster that was Spider-Man 3, I am definitely looking forward to a fresh interpretation of the Webbed One!

New ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ Artwork
17th April
Thanks to Sony Pictures, we have some brand new posters and artwork from The Amazing Spider-Man to share below.
This one is my personal favourite; love the cityscape reflection and pose of The Webbed One.
And the second one shows a different full body angle on the side of a building;
The Amazing Spider-Man is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Rhys Ifans.
The official synopsis:
The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy … Read More »

Sin City Sequel Has A Name…
13th April
And a name by any other name…oh wait wrong movie. Sorry.
Earlier today Comicbookmovie.com shared Dimension Films press release which detailed some information about the forthcoming collaboration between Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller for their SIN CITY sequel, titled Sin City: A Dame To Die For.
Sweet! Now that we know it has a title, surely more information can’t be far away!
Here’s an except from the press release;
Sin City creator, screenwriter and co-director Frank Miller said, “The first Sin City knocked out audiences who had never seen anything like it before. Robert Rodriguez and I are going to shake things up and deliver a ferocious film experience that is going to go even further than the first.“

The ‘Looper’ Poster has been released!
8th April
Thanks to the awesome movie peeps overs at Anomalous Material, a constant source of movie news and information, (I strongly suggest checking out the site) here is the poster (from /Film) for what is shaping up to be one of my most anticipated films of the year, Looper!
Set in a world where time travel is possible but illegal, the mob choose to send their enemies into the past where a waiting hitman, a looper (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is waiting for them. What happens when one day the looper discovers that the victim waiting to be dispatched, is himself from the future (played by Bruce Willis).
Easily one of the most original stories around and I probably go watch it just for that, however given that the cast consists of Gordon-Levitt, Willis, and one of my favourite actresses Emily Blunt, it … Read More »

‘The Mummy’ to Reboot: Meh, Why Bother?
6th April
It looks like the latest film franchise to head back into reboot territory is The Mummy as Universal Pictures plans to give the series an overhaul and bring it back to the big screen. It looks like Prometheus screenwriter John Spaihts has been selected to write the reboot and said this about the opportunity;
“I see it as the sort of opportunity I had with ‘Prometheus‘ to go back to a franchise’s roots in dark, scary source material, and simultaneously open it up to an epic scale we haven’t seen before”
I do have one question for you, is anyone still interested in The Mummy franchise?
Haven’t they really said everything already with the first 3 films, not to mention the dismal Scorpion King spin-off’s?
Surely it can’t be just me but the films became worse the longer the series dragged on. The first one … Read More »
