The Ten: Best All-Time Actors Relay Race
11th June
First of all I have a confession to make. I’m not exactly the world’s greatest athlete and I can’t remember the last time that I took part in a race unless you count the race against time … being able to get up from the recliner to make a snack, grab a beer, and check my tweets before the ad break is over… so it’s a great thing that I have just been handed “The Ten” baton from Max from Impassioned Cinema!
“The Ten: Best All-Time Actors Relay Race” works like a traditional relay race (except for all that pesky running) where one participant receives a list of 10 top actors and must cut one from from the list and replace that one with a new actor of their choosing. This task is made all the more difficult by receiving a … Read More »

Ralph Garman and his Creepy Clown impression
13th April
I’ve been a fan of the Hollywood Babble-On podcast since episode 1 and it is hands down my favourite podcast!
So as an Australian fan who hasn’t had the opportunity to visit the Jon Lovitz Podcasting Theatre and watch the show live, I have to settle on watching clips on YouTube. And that’s where I came across the below video.
FINALLY, there is a clip (posted by JessieSnacks) where we get to see the infamous Creepy Clown impression that Ralph does which unnerves Kevin Smith to no end! Upon watching it, I’ve discovered it’s even creepier than I has imagined!
Wasn’t it creepy?
I think that it’s that the voice is so upbeat and Ralph’s face looks, well dead, that the effect is so creepy.
Anyways, just sharing it with the international chapter of The Garmy!
Babble the fuck on!

Abbott & Costello: Technical Sales Support
7th April
Ok so I know that this has nothing to do with movies but seriously this is one of the funniest I have read in ages and I just really wanted it on the site. Now I read this quite a few years ago but recently I mentioned the read to a colleague at work and when I looked it up it made me laugh as hard now as I did then.
The original source where located this was www.techsupportforum.com and posted by a member Comtrad back in 2006. Now I don’t know if Comtrad wrote this or merely posted it to the site but this is as close and I can come to citing an original source.

New Superman Logo for ‘Man of Steel’
1st April
Being the massive Superman fan that I am, it just doesn’t feel right that I don’t have the new Superman logo for Zack Snyder’s reboot of Superman adorning my website.
So here it is in all its glory, the new logo for next year’s Man of Steel
The logo (thanks to @popcornjunkies) looks pretty sweet, a new take on an old favourite. I love how the “S” almost looks like a serpent or dragon, I wonder if that will feature in the film…
I also really like the look for the dull red against a really dull backdrop which provides a grittiness to it and with the light shining on the top of the logo it’s almost like hope among the darkness.
Maybe I’m just thinking too much.
Man of Steel opens next year!

Kevin Spacey – 9 impressions in 6 minutes
17th March
Who doesn’t love Kevin Spacey?
The man is an impeccable actor who embodies every character he’s ever played (yes, even See No Evil, Hear No Evil) and so it shouldn’t really come as any surprise that in addition to be being an amazing actor he’s also a very talented impressionist.
If you’ve already seen the episode of Inside the Actor’s Studio with James Lipton with Kevin Spacey then you would have already see this. However if you haven’t seen it, like me, then you will love the following clip for Spacey performing 9 impersonations in 6 minutes.
Thanks to @Jameslcurnow for the link to the clip.
I think I have even more respect for the man now! My favourite is a toss-up between Brando and Pacino.

Sh*t Batman Says…
17th March
I’ve always been a Superman guy for as long as I can remember.
I loved the story of Superman, the outsider aspect, and his idealism that, to me, makes him the ultimate superhero.
However don’t get me wrong, I think that Batman is awesome and yeah I also love the fact that he’s basically a rich guy in a suit with a lot of very cool toys and an extraordinary amount of martial arts training which, in theory, mean that any man technically could become Batman. I have a lot of friends who would agree very strongly with that statement. Yes, I have geeky friends.
So it is for them and everyone else who loves Batman that I post this for;
Enjoy.

Ghost Rider Plays Nicolas Cage
17th March
Poor Ghost Rider.
I mean the guy has been going through a bit of a rough patch the last few years. He finally gets given the big budget treatment for a movie that should showcase his immense vengeance and ferocity but only to have it fail miserably. However all was not lost, through some minor miracle or perhaps, more likely, a deal with the devil, the sequel has just been released…and failed miserably. Again.
That’s it. He’s had enough. Ghost Rider is taking out his vengeance…via YouTube.
If Nicolas Cage is going to fail at playing Ghost Rider, then let’s see what it looks like the other way round!
How’s it feel, Nic???
