Thanks to Slashfilm, here’s the new poster and trailer for Morgan Spurlock’s new documentary about the San Diego Comic-Con, the mecca for all those who have a bent towards all things geeky.
Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan’s Hope takes the audience to the San Diego comic-con where you will be immersed in all things comic book, superhero, Sci-Fi, and pop culture related. It’s been a lifelong dream to be able to go to Comic-Con one day and in the meantime this will be about as close as I can get to the Promised Land!
Featuring cameos by Kevin Smith, a regular at “the ‘con”, this looks set to be a great ride for those yet to visit Comic-Con and hopefully a walk down memory lane for those lucky enough to be able to visit in the past.
No word yet on an Australian release date.
This is awesome! I have got to see this when it comes out. Kevin Smith is my comic geek god. I love his outspokeness and his love of all things freak. Comic-Con is one place I hope to go before I kick the bucket. It is Mecca for me and my love of sci fi/super hero films/books/television shows.
Morgan Spurlock is one of the coolest filmmakers out there. He always brings a unique perspective and subject matter to the documentary table.

I was a fan of his movies growing up but I think now I have more respect for him for what he is doing with his SModcast Network and S.I.R and his spoken word tours. He inspires so many!
I can’t wait to see this doco from Morgan Spurlock, I still havent seen ‘The Greatest Story Ever Sold’ though…
